NATIONAL FINISHER - Sam's composition "Steadfast Spirit" for 8-piece flute ensemble finished top 5 in a contest hosted by the National Flute Association. It premiered at the Texas Flute Society convention by Flutes Unlimited (Dallas-Fort Worth) under the direction of Ellen Keller.

Verbal commitments to perform include: Dallas Youth Symphony, NYU-Potsdam, Coastal Carolina, Northern Illinois University, Song of Angels (Los Angeles), University of Arizona, Friends University (KS), and professional flute choirs from Germany, France, and the Netherlands. Stay tuned!
