INTERNATIONAL FINISHER New World Rhapsody for orchestra was named a finalist in an international call-for-scores by the Heartland Symphony Orchestra (MN) from among 180 entries, representing 10 countries. Performances are scheduled for summer 2026 by orchestras in Texas and Colorado; more info to come.  

INTERNATIONAL FINISHER The European Recording Orchestra announced that Sam's works are in the top 25% of all entrants in a worldwide contest.

NATIONAL FINISHER Sam's composition "Steadfast Spirit" finished top 5 in a contest hosted by the National Flute Association (Multiple Flutes Division). It has enjoyed performances across the U.S, as well as France, Germany, and the U.K.
